The GLCA Keurboom Park Family Market was started in 2019 with the primary focus of bringing the community of Lynfrae together in the beautiful surrounds of Keurboom Park, while showcasing the local small businesses in the area and giving them an opportunity to sell their items to their friends and neighbours.
Children are also given an opportunity to trade, selling everything from home-made cookies, pancakes, to home-made lemonade while learning about the skills of entrepreneurship as well as giving back to those less fortunate than themselves. A portion of the children’s profits are donated to a good cause, to be chosen by the children.
